The best treatment for insomnia is a brief talk therapy known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). This treatment is considered the first line treatment for insomnia (preferred to medication) due to its strong evidence base and demonstrated superior long-term impact on sleep compared to medications and other treatments.
